We are looking for a strategic, media-savvy social media manager to help build and maintain a thoughtful, authoritative brand presence for a journalist. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current events, digital media trends, and social media strategy, as well as the ability to develop a neutral, intelligent, and engaging voice across multiple platforms.

In this role, you will work closely with the journalist to draft and schedule content using Buffer.ai, ideate fresh and relevant content, and ensure that the messaging aligns with their professional voice and goals. Key Responsibilities

Task Description
✅Content Strategy & Brand Development Develop a cohesive, strategic plan to position the journalist as a thought leader across social media.
✅Social Media Management Maintain and update professional profiles on LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), Threads, and TikTok.
✅Content Drafting & Scheduling Use Buffer.ai to plan, schedule, and optimize content posts for engagement.
✅News & Trend Analysis Stay on top of current events and industry trends to create relevant and insightful content.
✅Audience Engagement Actively interact with followers, reply to comments, and build an engaged community.
✅Video Content Creation Assist with developing short-form video content for TikTok and other platforms.
✅Collaboration with the Journalist Work directly with the journalist to align content with their vision and professional goals.
