Job Overview

Patrique Mercier Recruitment FR is seeking dedicated Spanish-speaking Social Media Content Moderators to join our growing team. This is a fully remote role that provides an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team while helping maintain online community standards.

Key Responsibilities

As a Social Media Content Moderator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that online platforms remain safe and engaging for users. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring Social Media Platforms: Reviewing posts, comments, videos, and other user-generated content to ensure compliance with community guidelines and policies.
  • Identifying and Removing Inappropriate Content: Detecting and flagging content that violates terms of service, including hate speech, misinformation, graphic content, and abusive behavior.
  • Responding to User Reports: Investigating flagged content and making fair and consistent moderation decisions based on platform guidelines.
  • Providing User Support: Assisting Spanish-speaking users with inquiries related to moderation decisions, account issues, and policy clarifications.
  • Keeping Detailed Records: Documenting flagged content, user reports, and actions taken to improve overall moderation processes.
  • Collaborating with Internal Teams: Working with quality assurance teams and platform administrators to enhance content review strategies and improve the user experience.


Qualifications & Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Language Skills: Fluent in both Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience: Prior experience in content moderation, customer service, or online community management is preferred but not required.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with social media platforms, online community trends, and digital communication tools.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to assess content objectively and make quick, informed decisions.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving online environment.
