for native Dzongkha transcribers to join our team for a remote
transcription project. This is a flexible role that allows you to work on

As a Dzongkha transcriber,
you will be responsible for transcribing audio or video content from Dzongkha,
a Sino-Tibetan language spoken primarily in Bhutan. You will help ensure that
the transcription is accurate and high-quality, contributing to the
training of AI models designed to understand and process Dzongkha language.

Key Responsibilities
Your main tasks as a Dzongkha
Transcriber will include:
- Transcription:
- Listening to audio or video recordings in Dzongkha

- Data Annotation:
- In some cases, you may also be required to
annotate or tag specific data points within transcribed content to assist

- Paying special attention to nuances in language to
ensure the transcript accurately reflects the spoken content.
- Collaboration:
- Occasionally working with other transcribers

Requirements
To be successful in this role,
candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Proficiency in Dzongkha:
- Native or near-native fluency in Dzongkha,
with a strong understanding of both oral comprehension and written
expression.
- Ability to accurately transcribe spoken Dzongkha
into written text.
- Intermediate English:
- A basic level of English proficiency to
understand instructions and communicate effectively with the team.
- English will be used for certain aspects of task
management and communication.
- Computer Skills:
- Familiarity with using computers at a user
level, including knowledge of basic software applications like word
processors and internet browsers.
- Ability to navigate online platforms for
task submission and review.
- Attention to Detail:
- A keen eye for detail is essential to ensure
accurate and precise transcription.
- Ability to catch subtle nuances in spoken Dzongkha
that need to be reflected in the written transcription.
Preferred Qualifications
