Job Overview

MacPaw is seeking a Data Annotation Coordinator to manage and oversee the data labeling process that powers its AI and machine learning initiatives. This role requires a technical mindset, strong coordination skills, and a vision for developing efficient data-processing solutions.

As an AI Data Annotation Coordinator, you will ensure that data is accurately labeled, processed efficiently, and aligned with AI model requirements. Your work will be instrumental in improving AI performance for MacPaw’s suite of applications.

 

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Oversee the Data Annotation Process

• Manage and optimize the end-to-end annotation pipeline.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency for AI model training.
• Monitor progress and evaluate dataset quality over time.

🔹 Coordinate & Collaborate

• Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and AI teams to define annotation requirements.
• Communicate with annotation teams (internal & external) to ensure efficient workflow.
• Provide training & guidance to annotators for consistent data labeling.

🔹 Implement Technical Solutions

• Develop automated processes to streamline data labeling efforts.
• Identify and implement tools for AI-enhanced annotation.
• Troubleshoot issues related to AI training datasets.

🔹 Quality Control & Improvement

• Establish quality control metrics for annotated data.
• Conduct data validation and error-checking to refine AI model accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with ethical AI guidelines for unbiased data labeling.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

✅ Experience in Data Annotation	Required (2+ years preferred)
✅ Knowledge of AI & Machine Learning	Strong understanding of AI model training
✅ Technical Proficiency	Familiarity with annotation tools & Python (preferred)

📌 Preferred:
